During this project a difficult problem was that of choosing what information is relevant and what is not. This is mostly based on the opinions of this team causing a relatively high chance a mistake was made. It is highly possible that not all relevant information for a student going to Japan is available here. This is a point of improvement
Another problem during this project is that no one of this team has significant experience with Japanese culture. No member of this team has lived there or has Japanese family. This makes it difficult to write an informational summary about a culture no one has much experience with. This can cause certain mistakes and or/wrong assumptions.
Neither member of this team had many connections with Japanese or Western people in Japan resulting in a very small group of questionnaires and dietary recalls. Later on in the project one of those asked to do a questionnaire also could not do it because of his own schedule. This reduced the group for questionnaires and recalls even further. This is a problematic aspect of this document because the group of people interviewed may not be large enough to be of relevant for this informational overview.
